We are on a mission to transform how smallholder farmers understand and manage their soils by making soil health knowledge accessible to every farmer.
We are on a mission to transform how smallholder farmers understand and manage their soils by making soil health knowledge accessible to every farmer.
The Need
When soil testing is available, it’s typically designed for researchers; not farmers. The process, language, and reporting formats are rarely user-friendly, making it difficult for farmers to understand the results or apply them to their practices.
Our Solution
We created a Soil Health Toolkit, an innovative solution that brings laboratory-quality soil assessment directly to farmers' fields at a fraction of the traditional cost.

It combines physical testing tools, practical training, a mobile app, and a web database, that all empower farmers to make data-driven decisions that boost productivity, resilience, and environmental stewardship.
Introducing ShambaSense
We help farmers test their soil, understand what it needs, and apply simple, regenerative practices to grow more naturally.
  • Affordable soil testing
  • Clear results in farmer-friendly language
  • Contextualized feedback on how to restore soil health
